1998
Prodibio Creation
Prodibio is founded in Lyon, France with the aim if design, developing, manufacturing and marketing a range of products ranges for fish care, treatment, and maintenance of freshwater and saltwater aquariums maintenance, garden ponds maintenance and aqua terrariums.
2006
Prodibio Acquisition
Since its acquisition in 2006 Prodibio is acquired by Nicolas Tiliacos (PhD in Organic Chemistry) and its relocates to Marseille, France. Prodibio has strengthened its international presence. The company It continues to grow in both revenue and in the number of professional clientele, including aquarium product distributors, independent stores, chains, public aquariums, and fish farms.
2008
Prodibio: The Acceleration
A significant year marked by a new logo and graphic charter, CIR approval, and work on the launch of the Mare Nostrum public aquarium in Montpellier (Planet Ocean).
2010
A strong Commitment
Prodibio established its headquarters in the Héliopolis zone of the Château Gombert Technopole in Marseille. The company launched major initiatives focused on sustainable development and obtained ISO 26000 certification through AFNOR. That same year, Prodibio successfully transported 12,000 sardines from Japan to the COEX Aquarium in Seoul, South Korea.
2018
20th Anniversary
Prodibio celebrated its 20th anniversary alongside clients and partners at Interzoo 2018.
2019
Expansion to Australia
Prodibio entered the Australian market, expanding its presence to five continents. The year was also dedicated to revamping the freshwater range and launching a new aquascaping range.
2020
An Eventful Year
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Prodibio remained resilient, reallocating part of its production to manufacture hydroalcoholic solutions for the medical community and transitioning to direct distribution in France. 2020 was also marked by significant innovation, including an updated formula for its flagship product, BioDigest, which achieved widespread success.
